The Great Orb Hunt
Welcome to the Great Orb Hunt
Fine Line Creative Arts Center has teamed up with the Forest Preserve District of Kane County!
Orb hunting season 2025 opens on September 4th.
Between September 4th and September 30, 150 glass and ceramic orbs (numbered 251 to 400) will be hidden at three locations. We invite you to walk or bike around all three locations and look for an orb. If you are lucky enough to find an orb, it's yours to keep, but we ask that you only keep ONE orb please. If you find another orb, please leave it where it is to be found by another seeker.
This year, orbs will be hidden at:
- LeRoy Oakes Forest Preserve (North of Dean St. only),
- The prairie path at Fine Line Creative Arts Center
- Dick Young Forest Preserve
Look up and look down; you never know where an orb will be found!
