UNCOMMON THREADS - 27TH ANNUAL!
2013 will be the 27th year the friends of the Fine Line present UNCOMMON THREADS
Fashion Show and Luncheon. It's a juried show and a great way of exhibiting one-of-a-kind
wearable art from artists across the nation. Almost 500 wearable art lovers gather each year
to view our UNCOMMON THREADS.
Tickets for the show and luncheon are $60 per person. Since The Fine Line is a 501 (c) (3)
not-for-profit organization, $25 of this amount is tax-deductible providing one attends the
luncheon. Any number of tickets may be purchased. Tables seat ten and full payment for all
luncheon tickets must be made in advance. No table, place or places will be reserved
without full payment. We accept checks, Visa, MasterCard and Discover. See our reservation form. No sales
at the door.
If you're a fiber artist creating one-of-a-kind wearable art fashions, you may be interested
in participating in our 2013 show. Send a SASE (Self Addressed Stamped Envelope)
to us in April, 2013, requesting our UNCOMMON THREADS Prospectus and we will send you
all the information you need. OR print out the Prospectus and Application Form (2013 to be updated soon) and submit
them to the Fine Line by June 1, 2013.
For individuals new to the Fine Line or present members who do
not make wearable fashions but concentrate on other aspects of the fashion world, we also have a Fashion Accessories Boutique along with the runway show. The Fashion Accessories Boutique
is open to any Fine Line Member who would like to show and sell their work in this
worthwhile fund raiser (wearable items only). We define accessories to be special items that are meant to enhance
a wardrobe such as scarves, shawls, jewelry, purses, hats, belts, etc. Our Boutique Artist Prospectus and Application (2013 to be updated soon) has the information you need in order to participate in the Uncommon Threads Boutique.
If you haven’t done this before, now may be a great opportunity for you to spread your
wings and try entering the show. Each year the show seems to get better. Many people come each year looking for unusual and unique items to buy.
New artists are always welcome!
