PAINT IN PASTEL!
Instructor: Carol Zack
Learn how to focus on emotion and color which is applied and mixed directly on the painting surface. Bring either Oil Pastels or Soft Pastels. Both provide a wide range of individual expression, and style and include techniques handed down from the French Impressionists and the American Tonalist painters. So gather your photos and some still life objects and come prepared to paint on the first day! A great class for beginners and more experienced painters who want to continue exploring the medium. Class critiques are included with one-on-one instruction.

OIL PASTEL: INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCE

Class is designed for intermediate and advanced students who have a sincere desire to broaden their artistic ability and have fun doing it. Focus will be on self-creativeness through composition, color, harmony and originality. Class discussion and critiques will be a good part of our learning process. Basically, all participants will learn how to develop their own style and technique.
